The 3 Things About The Mind You’re Already Doing

The mind is the most powerful force in all of creation! Throughout time there have been thousands of people who have written about the miraculous powers we all have … but are you using it with intention?

Whether you know it or not, whether you like it or not, you’re already using your own mind to do numerous tasks on a daily basis. By becoming aware of this, you’re able to empower yourself to change and become who you truly want to be.

1. Influencing Others

We use our minds to influence others to take our desired actions. The language we use elicits particular images on the screen of the mind for those who listen. If you want someone to do something, or not do something, the language we use will influence them one way or another. Remember to use positive language that’s motivation towards, not away. What this means is if you DON’T want someone to do something, talk instead about what you DO want them to do.

2. Self-Talk

Depending on the research you read, we have anywhere from 20,000 – 80,000 thoughts per day. Society has accepted that we have 60,000 thoughts on average. Think about how many of those thoughts are negative versus positive. By controlling your thoughts and demanding to your subconscious mind what you’d like to think about instead, over time, you will begin thinking like the individual you want to become.

3. Instant Change

As Tony Robbins says, “all change happens in an instant.” It doesn’t take you 20 years to get over the death of a loved one, it took you 20 years to be ready to instantly get over it. Our mind is like electricity in our homes. You want the lights on, flip a switch. Same goes with your mind. Everything happens in an instant even though it may take 66 days to form a habit (research on this is a paradox). By continuously doing something over and over again, at some point, the mind instantly accepts it and makes the necessary adjustments.

Trying to change, improve, or reinvent your life? Keep at it, keep thinking about it, keep experimenting!

Whatever it is you want to achieve in this lifetime, the mind is going to get you there. You’re already doing all three of these things, now it’s time to do it with intention.
